TRUE DETECTIVE TITLE SEQUENCE

My friend Kelli was just telling me about the TV series "True Detective," and coincidentally, I came across the title sequence while browsing on Motionspire.com. It's an HBO series, and I don't have HBO so I haven't seen the show, but I love the title sequence. The images are combinations of people (characters, I believe) and scenery/inanimate objects, merged together in strange and interesting ways. The song is Americana-esque and pretty dark. The mood of the whole thing is sombre and dark and intriguing. It's very slow moving, but each image or image sequence is fascinating and makes me wonder what the whole thing is about. It's a whole different kind of animation compared to what I've been looking at lately. Very cool!
